EASTER BAKING

Hey Everyone,

It has been an extremely long time, and well let me just say I have certainly missed blogging. However, I think I will do a complete update blog post later on, but today is going to be a fun one.

I have been busy baking Easter Cupcakes over on my youtube channel, and I must say they taste super delicious, so chocolatey and they have cute mini eggs on top.
I know, I am sure you are enjoying the sound of them, so I will share the recipe and photographs with you. They were super easy to make, and would have been even easier if I had an electric whisk, but alas I have just moved house, and sadly that is still something on my list of things to purchase.

The recipe is as follows:

For the cupcakes:
100g Plain flour
20g Cocoa powder
140g Caster Sugar
1/2 tsp baking powder
40g Unsalted Butter
120ml Milk
1 Egg
1/4 tsp Vanilla extract

For the Frosting:
300g Icing Sugar
100g Unsalted butter
40g Cocoa powder

I would love to know if any of you guys decide to bake these or if you have made anything similar for easter.

organising your life

Do you ever feel unorganised?

I definitely get times where I feel as though my life is all over the place. However, come December time I get so excited to re purchase a new diary for the upcoming year, that my organisation goes into full swing.
I have been searching for the perfect diary for a while now, and I kept seeing advertisements for Kikki.K on Instagram and thought their products looked so aesthetically pleasing... and then they opened a store near where I live. Well I could live in that store, its a stationary girl's dream. I routed through the different 2017 diaries and finally decided on this one. It's in my current favourite dusty pink colour and it's got the perfect week view layout, but even better it comes with stickers!
At the back of the diary, it has pages where you can jot down your favourite movies, restaurants/bars, books, tv programmes. I think that is such a cool idea, because I always make a mental note of the places I want to try out, or the books I want to read, but they very easily get lost among the rest of my thoughts.

Are you like me and love the excitement of purchasing a new diary, ready for the new year? I feel like i'm talking about the cliché 'New Year, New Me'.

50 facts about me

Hey guys,

If you are anything like me you are kind of nosy. (Just being honest) I'm obsessed with watching peoples 50 facts about me, or just those sort of tags in general. I thought it would be quite a nice idea for me to do one, so you guys can get to know a little bit more about who I am, what I like/dislike and just my personality. I'm warning you now, I struggled to come up with 50 facts, so read into that what you wish.

I would love to know a random fact about you, so I get to know you guys a little bit better :)

Top 3 favourite phone cases

Hey Guys,

I thought I'd do a little bit of a different post today and share with you my three favourite phone cases. I never realised how important protecting your phone was, until mine fell off the table and decided never to work again. *sobs* ever since then I never let my phone go without a case. I like to make them pretty to.
1. Cat sims feather case from Iconemesis* This has to be my ultimate favourite. It fits my phone so snuggly and it doesn't even feel like there is really a case on my phone. not to mention this case is now in the sale. Bargain alert! After using my Topshop case to death, this one has certainly become a firm favourite of mine.

2. Black and white snakeskin look case from H&M I think the look of this is so cool and on the inside it has like a velvet feel to it. It looks way more expensive than it actually is.

3. This Topshop reflective holographic case was my first and I love it, its so cool, It sort of changes colour with the light. Unfortunately I cant find the link online, but it should still be in some stores.
All items marked with an asterix* were kindly gifted to me, but all opinions are my own.

Summer hair care

                                                                      Hey guys,

As it's the summer, and if you are living in England you will know it's hotter than usual, which is why I want to share with you some products on keeping your hair protected from the sun.
The UV rays in the sun can really damage your hair, not to mention burn your scalp. (trust me I know).

Firstly I was drawn to the ORGANIX shampoo and conditioner. Doesn't the packaging look so good, in all honesty this was half the reason I picked them up. However they work so well on my hair, its left feeling so soft. They have argan and macadamia oil in, which is great for nourishing dry or damaged hair.

The Lee Stafford moisture injection conditioner is amazing especially to add extra nourishment to your hair in between washes. It's a little more pricey at £8.99 but I love it, I would definitely re purchase.

The final two products are both from Mark hill, the first is from his holiday hair collection, which is specifically designed to protect your hair against the sun. You just spritz this on to your hair and scalp and it protects your hair from drying out and your scalp from burning.
Finally I have been using Mark hills defrizz-ilicious anti humidity spray. Which if you watch the video you will quickly realise I cannot successfully say the word defrizz-ilicious (how embarrassing!) This one is great, if you are like me and are prone to frizzy hair, I always find its worse in humid conditions. A few sprays of this and you will be left with controllable and frizz free hair. What more could you ask for.

If you haven't noticed I'm new to youtube, so its a totally new learning curve, but hopefully I will get the hang of it. I hope you enjoy the video, if you also have youtube I would love to know what your pages are, so I can take a look.

LUSH Haul

Hey there,

I recently took a little trip into my local LUSH store, as I hadn't been in a while. Even if you don't wish to buy anything the experience is still so fun, and the smells are literally amazing. After picking up a few things, I thought I would share them with you all.

First up is the Bubblegum lip scrub. Oh my gosh, I cant explain to you how good this smells, I just want to eat the whole thing. (probably not the best idea, but oh well). I get really dried lips and I notice that it makes applying lipsticks really hard, so this little beauty is going to work a treat.

This one is the Melting Marshmallow Moment (nice bit of alliteration there for you). Again, it smells so good I just want to eat it all up. You can just run this gently under the tap when you have a bath, and watch it do its thing.

I cant wait to use the French Kiss bath bar. It has a beautiful scent of lavender, which is really soothing and relaxing for your mind and body. I often use lavender in bathes to help me sleep, so if you have problems getting to sleep at night try this.

I have never used this Tisty Tosty bath ballistic, but I literally cannot wait, as it melts away in the bath water, the rosebuds will emerge and be left floating on the surface. I think this one sounds so fun and I'm really excited to use this it.

Okay, this is my last bath product, I promise. This is the Avobath, which is a creation of Avocado. Avocado is perfect in helping soften and smooth your skin, so I'm interested to see how this one will also work.

The final product I picked up is the H'suan Wen Hua hair treatment. I get pretty dry hair, so I am constantly on the look out for something to help soften and nourish it. You can use this product straight onto dry hair and leave for 20 minutes. If your hair is more damaged you can use it once a week. I wouldn't say mine is overly damaged, but I think I'm going to give it a go once a week, just to see the difference it makes.

So there we have it, my little LUSH haul for you all to see. I'm unsure on all of the ingredients used within each of the products, but what I absolutely love about LUSH is that everything is very natural and nor is it tested on animals.

What products do you love from LUSH?
