birthday trip to austria

Hey Everyone,

So if you couldn't work out from the title of this post I actually spent my birthday in the mountains of Austria. My boyfriend took me out there for a few days, it was my first time visiting, but he goes a lot with his family. I was so amazed by the beauty of this place, it was just incredible.

We flew into Munich and then got the train to Austria close to where we were staying in Wörgl, and then got a lift up into the mountains of Niederau where we were staying in a cute and very Austrian looking chalet.

I was gutted that I came down with a cold for the entire trip, but that was not going to stop me having the most amazing time, and I even made it up a giant mountain. We spent a lot of time hiking, as there wasn't enough snow to ski (but there was snow, yay). The view from the top of the mountain was absolutely incredible, it was so worth struggling to breathe for.

I vlogged the whole trip, so you can see what I got up to in more depth, and hear my manly ill voice (it's not attractive, I warned you), but to sum up, I had the most amazing time, I watched the sun rise and climbed snowy mountains, and relaxed in the sauna after the days we spent hiking. It was honestly the most perfect get away for my birthday, there was so much time to chill out and be in a beautiful calm and quiet environment, which is just what I needed, from the stresses of working life and the hustle and bustle of London.

a weekend vlog

Hey guys,

Sometimes I have fun weekends, which are often few and far between, but hey they are there none the less. I thought that since I have been doing alot of sit down chatty videos recently, it would be nice to do more of a raw vlog, so you get to see more of my personality and who I am. I can't say for my first attempt it is brilliant but hey, this is a learning curve, right.

I spent the weekend with my boyfriend, where we spent the morning roaming around Richmond park, in search of deer (yes we found them). We also came across a rope swing, which I had far too much fun on, I am pretty much a kid at heart.
We then made our way into London, so that my boyfriend could get the train home *cries*. I then chatted about the struggle of long distance relationships, so if any of you would like a full video/ blog post on this, then please do let me know, and if I can help someone else out there going through the same thing, then that would be amazing. I know too well how lonely it can often be.

Anyway, enough of my rambles, I have included the vlog below if you would like to see the things I got up to. Let me know if you like it, and you would be interested in seeing more.

Malta video

I recently took a much needed trip away to Malta, with my boyfriend and two friends. Its such a beautiful place and it was amazing to get some sunshine and swim in the sea. I decided to compile the video clips I have together and make my first vlog style video. I hope you enjoy watching the video, let me know what you think.

Have any of you visited Malta before?

Exploring Amsterdam

 Lets go back to May...

I finally submitted my 10,000 word dissertation and under went exams for my final year of university, along with Ben's birthday, what better excuse than to jet off to Amsterdam. We were greeted with the best weather, I think we were tremendously lucky, everyone else i'd spoken to suggested coats, but we didn't need them once, in fact I wish I had brought shorts with me.
We decided to stay in an Airbnb, something neither of us had done before, but I was throughly impressed, and it felt so much nicer living in the culture of someone else's home in a different country. Everything about the apartment was amazing, and gave me apartment envy.

I'd recommend walking, Ben and I walked miles around the city, you will definitely sleep at night, but it really is the perfect way to see all those side streets and things you would miss via public transport. One of my favourite things to do is just wander and explore and Amsterdam is such a great city to do this in.

As you can see, we took a trip to the sex museum, which is located close to Amsterdam Centraal, it's definitely worth the 4 euro, its a funny trip and lets just say they have some interesting characters which jump out at you. As the red light district is so famous on Amsterdam we thought we should check out the museum first, before heading along to see the real thing, I found the museum very interesting and it was interesting to see how things have changed and evolved over the years.
